Will doing Pilates burn fat?

I know that pilates is great for toning up but will it burn fat also, or would i need cardio like running or something? Because i'm not a fan of cardio, or working out in general but i enjoy pilates because i'm a dancer, so i'm flexible and i can do the moves well. So my weight loss plan is this; 1200-1400 cals a day and some form of pilates everyday. Is that enough? i'm worried i'm toning my muscles but NOT burning the fat on top. Is doing pilates enough to slim down?
