There's a girl in my drivers ed class, but im nervous to talk to her?

Theres this girl in my drivers ed class, i think she is a year older. She has a group of friends shes there with so i dont wanna just be awkard and break up the group. I go with 1 friend , but anyway im to nervous to talk to her. Any tips or ideas of what i should do or what i could say would be great. thx
