What is Simon Fraser University like?

I am applying there for a PDP teacher training program, and I want to know how the school treats the students. I am just finishing up a master's degree at another school, and I have really been upset with how the school treats students here: elevators not working, library hours and faculty office hours very limited, not helping to explain anything, basically being left on your own! I want to make sure SFU isn't like that. Thank you.
