I want to dye my hair purple but need help?

Okay so depending on the shade of purple you want depends if you will have to bleach it so if you want a more blended purple like darker then no bleaching know if you want hey look at me i have like mega bright purple then yes and it depends on how your hair takes to the bleach if its not orangy then only once but if its orangy then wait a while then bleach it again then use the purple know if the bleach ends up being a little orange or a little to yellow go to sally's and buy Shimmering Lights its in a purple bottle and its purple shampoo it will get out the yellow or orange and make it lighter and easier for the purple to take also as far as what color to use go with splat its very vivid and extreme with the purple! hope that helps!:)
