You'll have to get a workout plan from your doctor, physical therapist, or chiro. Do you have access to a pool? I think that would be the best route. When I injured my back, I used a medicine ball while I was bed bound. But again, I would get the clear of which exercises would be good for you because every back injury is different and you could make things worse if you do the wrong one. Good luck. I know you mentioned you dont count calories, just avoid the typical fatty or processed foods for now. I ate all organic and healthy foods (no restaurants, fast food, sugars, sodas, etc....) without exercise and lost 65lbs. `
